LORDI AT SALA SANTANA 27 IN BILBAO, SPAIN

On October 15th Lordi made their last Spanish stop on the Sextourcism tour at a half empty Santana 27 in Bilbao. From the beginning to the end the band did what they do best - hard rock and an amazing visual performance. Starting with Sexorcism, Lordi and the possessed woman on the front of their last album appeared on a stage full of smoke. With "Would you love a Monsterman?", a classic of the band, the crowd was totally immersed on the whole spectacle that is a Lordi concert.

From that point until the last chord there was not a single second of calm. Splitting new and old themes with a few of Mr. Lordi's speeches, we also had solos of every member of the band. Each song had its own visual performance - a crib with a diabolic doll, Mr Lordi dressed as Leatherface or a rain of petals. The night before in Madrid they performed "Rock Police" for the first time in many years and we had the pleasure of hearing it again in Bilbao. As a bonus, "Slashion Model Girls", from their new album, was played live for the first time ever.

Amen, on the guitar, gave us an amazing solo, which was the perfect prelude for the last songs "Who's your Daddy", "Devil is a Loser" and the world famous "Hard Rock Hallelujah". With that finale the band finished their spectacle of music, light, and creepy costumes satisfying the fans by giving them what they came to see.

In summary it was a great night, Lordi gives you great value for the price  of your ticket.
