We are excited to share with you Peter Aristone’s new music video for his single “Eye of a Needle.” Peter Aristone is a Slovakian singer/songwriter who first launched his career with his debut album, ’19 Day in Tetbury.’ The album released in 2014 which featured Melanie C from the Spice Girls and James Dean Bradfield from Manic Street Preachers. Since then he released his critically acclaimed EP, ‘Gold’ which features “Fire Inside” and “Not as One.” Ever since then, Aristone has been on the rise to fame in Eastern Europe.
“Eye of a Needle” comes from Aristone’s latest EP, ‘Happiest Accidents.’ The song is mainly about this generation’s obsession with social media. The music video is simple but really shows how much social media is getting out of hand. The video starts off with a girl that is over-obsessing over a selfie to post on Instagram. The girl seems to not be able to keep her phone off, which seems pretty normal until her setting is revealed at the end. This music video really does bring awareness to how we all need to start looking up from our phones and enjoy life as it is. If you enjoy “Eye of a Needle,” make sure to check out the rest of ‘Happiest Accidents.’
Aristone has already had great success so far with his EP, ‘Gold,’ being featured on MTVU and opening sold out shows, supporting Marc Broussard. We can’t wait to see what else is in store for him for the rest of 2018.
