5 SECONDS OF SUMMER AT THE MANN CENTER IN PHILADELPHIA

If you follow mainstream media in the slightest you will have heard of the band 5 Seconds of Summer. The Australian 4-piece have taken the world by storm in the past decade. Personally, I have been a fan of this group for that long and it’s easy to say this is their best era to date.

Heading out on their tour, “The 5 Seconds of Summer Show”, they made sure to have a setlist that showcases every portion of the band's musical journey. On social media I have seen people wanting to avoid setlist spoilers and if that's you- don’t read the rest!

Opening up the show we had their track “Bad Omens”. With how the instrumentals build up in this song, it made for an INCREDIBLE opener to “The 5SOS Show”. This is one of my favorite tracks off of their newest record 5SOS5.

During the middle of the show they have a surprise song dice roll over the entire general admission crowd. Whatever the big blow up dice lands on, the band has to play. The options were “Voodoo Doll”, “Heartache On The Big Screen”, “Wrapped Around Your Finger”, “Heartbreak Girl”, “If You Don’t Know”, and “English Love Affair”. While I was not-so-quietly hoping for “English Love Affair”, the dice landed on another one of my favorites, “If You Don’t Know”. This track isn’t on streaming services so hearing how loud the crowd was showed how powerful 5 Seconds of Summer fans are.

Ending off the set (pre-encore) the band played their biggest hit “She Looks So Perfect”. This song never fails to have the best crowd reaction and I’m so incredibly happy I was able to witness it again.

All in all, 5 Seconds of Summer never fails to put on a spectacular show. If you have the chance to see them, you do not want to miss out.
