ARE YOU READY TO ROCK? BLUE RIDGE ROCK FESTIVAL COMES IN SEPTEMBER

“Rock’s not dead”, was a declaration boasted by Blue Ridge Rock Festival as they announced that, only four days after the full lineup release, they had already sold out their 160,000 tickets. Blue Ridge Rock brings back the highly curated rock festival to Danville, Virginia the weekend of September 9th-12th. The festival itself stands apart due to its “fan driven” experience; after receiving a massive 70,000 votes on polls for various artists, the organizers were able to give to the people exactly what they have been waiting for. Truly living up to their mission statement, “YOUR voice. YOUR festival. This is Blue Ridge.” Since this festival is also run by a smaller independent organization, the transparency I’ve seen between them and the fans regarding variables about a “post-pandemic” show has been refreshing.

This year the festival will last three days, giving patrons an extra day packed with some amazing artists. It’s clear that the attendees are chomping at the bit to get out there and rock, so much so that the festival added additional camping this year to accommodate their fans. At only $5 a day for camping, it’s an extremely affordable option for those looking to stay on festival grounds.

If fans are looking for something a bit different to shake up the night after a full day of rock, Blue Ridge Rock offers the first on-site sound proofed club experience at a rock fest. The club will be headed up by Lil Jon, T-Pain, Rev Run, and Ludacris. How could you resist? The club will open following the main headliner each night.

You also don’t want to miss the Hellzapoppin circus sideshow revue which will run three times a day all weekend. I have been to a rock festival before which featured a similar circus big tent with awe inspiring acts and I can honestly say, don’t miss out! This is such a cool feature that I wish more festivals would adopt. It allows fans to take a break, see something amazing, and get right back to rocking since it is close to all the action.

Blue Ridge Rock has a lot to offer and I anticipate it will be a hell of an experience for everyone attending. Also did I mention that it’s hosted by Steve-O? Did you expect anything less? It’s sure to be a party! Check out their full line-up here and brace yourself for one wild weekend!
