MOVEMENTS AT TANNAHILLS TAVERN AND MUSIC HALL IN FORT WORTH

I have been following movements since 2017 when I first saw them at Warped Tour in Dallas, and have been in love with since their first EP. I think everyone else had the same thought as me as the venue was fairly full when doors opened. Of the 3 bands touring with them, I only knew of Tigers Jaw (this would be my first time seeing them as well), but Paerish and Webbed Wing were so incredibly good.

Paerish were up first and they were a vibey, super energetic touring band from France that definitely knew how to bring the Texas vibes to Fort Worth. They were so fun to watch and super down to Earth guys.

Webbed Wing came to follow them and had more of a very early Tigers Jaw vibe, and I loved it. Their stage chemistry and presence were SO good. So much so that they had me dancing around the photo pit myself.

Tigers Jaw came to follow and honestly I can’t believe how I deprived myself of this experience for so long. They brought me back to my moody angsty days, and I couldn’t help but sing, dance, and move along to each of their songs.

Finally Movements was up next and honestly, this second leg of the tour went even harder than the first leg. This venue had completely sold out and was moving from the barricade to the back wall, and all the way up to the second floor. It was so hard to just not be a fan in the moment and take in the music. If I’m being honest, I had to fight back tears from how amazing this all was. Watching from both the balcony and pit, hearing everyone scream those lyrics at the top of their lungs and move from side to side throughout, the entire venue balcony included, was so beautiful to watch and experience. If you’re on the fence about seeing any of these bands on this tour hop on it, otherwise you’re going to regret it.
