Disney Channel favorites Aly & Aj have finally come back with a tour and they played a powerful show in the Windy City on May 5th!

Starting out the night strong was Armors, a band from California. They played their first ever Chicago show to a sold out crowd, making it a unique experience for each crowd member! They expressed their gratitude towards the headlining act and played with all smiles. Their gratefulness show through the way they played, which showed how genuine they are. The vocalist’s smooth voice was easy on the ears and the upbeat music made everyone want to move. They definitely prepared the room for what was about to happen!

Sisters and headliners, Aly & Aj took the stage in a bold and unforgettable way. They built up intensity in the crowd by playing the beginning one of their latest releases, Church, and setting the lights off to the beat. The crowd screamed as they former Disney Channel stars took the stage and every heart skipped a beat. They played new songs such as “Don’t Go Changing” and “The Distance”, while also playing old songs such as “Like Whoa” and “Rush”. They pumped up the crowd by playing “Take Me”, which is the song that lead them to their comeback. The encore was one to remember, as well! They came back on stage and slowed the night down. They showed their appreciation of Kacey Musgraves by beautifully covering her song, “Slow Burn”, and then playing their classic song, “No One”. The sisters closed out the night in one of their favorite cities by playing the song that everyone in the crowd was dying to hear, “Potential Breakup Song”. The crowd managed to sing over the duo! Aly & Aj are two performers you do not want to miss, as they beautifully foster the feelings of nostalgia while also bringing in a new era of tasteful music.
